Payroll Administrator


Working alongside one of our most longstanding clients, Bruckshaw Associates are recruiting a real 'nextstep’ opportunity for an experienced, ambitious Payroll Administrator. Located in their Gloucestershire head office you will be working closely alongside the Payroll Manager, responsible for looking after all the day to day aspects of the payroll function.


Working alongside the Payroll manger responsibilities will include but not be limited to, processing and submitting the monthly payroll. Processing all the payroll information including any new starter details, changes to terms, holidays, deductions, benefits, tax and national insurance and pension contributions. Preparing reports, queries conducting audits ensuring data integrity. Following up with managers for any addition information needed. You will be liaising with various third parties on issues such as contractor timesheets, HMRC and Childcare voucher schemes. In addition to all this you will be required to provide cover for the payroll manager as and when required.

Qualifications and experience required:

You will need prior experience of working in an end to end payroll function, knowledge of up to date legislation regarding tax payments and exemptions, studying towards or a willingness to study towards your CIPP is preferred. Strong IT skills, good working knowledge of MO including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Aptitude/Team fit:

Must be a confident communicator, you will be often required to liaise with different line managers and third-party organisations. Excellent time management, the ability to prioritise your work load and work to strict deadlines. Highly numerical. Willingness to learn and continually improve. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner at all times.
