Location Account Maternity Contract


My prestigious Cheltenham client have the hospitality contract for a world renowned sporting venue.  They require a Location Accountant to cover a maternity leave for this senior role.  The contract will last for a minimum of 8 months with an asap start to allow maximum hand over.  This busy role would suit someone with a background in hospitality finance or an ability to hit the ground running in an environment like no other.

Duties include:

  • Management Accounts
  • Forecasts
  • Profit and Loss statements
  • Annual budgets
  • Weekly trading reports and updates
  • Managing to accounts payable, receivable and cash management processes
  • Occasional involvement in payroll administration
  • Work closely with the General Manager
  • Stock control

Desired attributes:

  • AAT, CIMA, ACA or ACCA desirable
  • Willingness to be hands on in a busy office
  • Very occasional Saturday work needed
  • Strong Excel skills
  • SAP desirable but not essential
  • Hospitality accounts experience desirable but not essential
