Located in their modern offices in Quedgeley they are looking for an all round finance assistant to join their well established team.
In a varied and challenging role, you will be working alongside the rest of the finance team, you will be responsible for raising and resolving queries related to any income received by the trust. Weekly and monthly reconciliations. Record expenditure onto the finance system. Record all invoices to tenants and residents onto the ledger. Occasional credit control both on the phone and via email. Assisting the senior finance team with collation of internal audits, analysis and reporting. In addition to these main roles you will need to demonstrate the flexibility to help with any other ad hoc finance needs.
It is vital that you have comprehensive knowledge and experience of the above, proficient with both Sage and MO, organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
You will need to be a confident communicator, hard working and happy to liaise with senior management team, non finance team members and any inbound query calls. Skillset and experience are of course important but due to the current DNA to the team, personality and approach will be as important in the shortlist selection.
