Sales Conference 2011
This year Bruckshaws braved the cold weather of mid Wales for their annual Christmas Sales conference. After an early snowy start we wriggled into double wetsuits to tackle 10 miles of white water rapids which had been boosted by recent heavy rainfall. With fabulous views and snow capped mountains we 
raced down the River Wye and tackled fast flowing rapids and the legendary Hell Hole. Despite the extreme cold we all loved the challenge and only 2 staff fell out at the dangerous Hell Hole, so the majority of us 
stayed dry – comparatively! Our exhilarating freezing adventure was then followed by the total luxury of Celtic Manor’s roaring fires and beautiful Spa, then a quick costume change and a wonderful meal in their renowned Crown restaurant which included magic tricks from the staff! All agreed it was a most enjoyable day which we will talk of for years to come and a great team building exercise – a terrific way to finish another successful year at Bruckshaws.
New Year’s Day 2011
Bruckshaw Associates celebrated the start of the New Year with a fantastic day at the Races in Cheltenham. Max and Jenny invited friends, family and colleagues to join them and were delighted to have the benefit of a hospitality box to offer refreshments in between races and provide a brilliant social meeting point. It was a great start to the year and an appropriate venue as Bruckshaws work closely with the finance team at the Racecourse and have always felt it was privileged working alongside such a prestigious Cheltenham employer. Overall most people seemed to back winners and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and perhaps the start of a Bruckshaws tradition!
